ICGM Montpellier! Presentation on nanoscale dynamic processes

Updated: Feb 24, 2025

ICGM Montpellier Conference  "Forcing Chemistry on the Nanoscale"

(December, 2024)

The ICGM Montpellier University had the privilege of welcoming Professor Dominik Lungerich from the Advanced Science Institute, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. His presentation provided an in-depth exploration of nanoscale dynamic processes driven by external stimuli, shedding light on cutting-edge advancements in nanoscience.

Professor Lungerich discussed chemical reactions triggered by mechanical forces, mechanical transformations in light-induced molecular photoswitches, and the manipulation of nano-objects for mechanobiological cell stimulation using external magnetic fields. His insights sparked engaging discussions and broadened our understanding of dynamic nanoscale interactions, paving the way for future innovations in nanomedicine and material science.
